Bear paw and water wave key holder

HMKYJkh-CH-1

This key holder is handcrafted (.925) sterling silver by a Hopi silversmith.  The Hopi Indians have been making overlay jewelry over sixty five years.  Overlay means there are two layers of silver, a design usually a symbol of rain clouds, lighting, kachinas, flute players, bear paws, water waves, plants, animals, insects, etc.  The designs are cut out with a fine blade and soldered onto a second layer, which makes it double and thus is referred to as Overlay Jewelry.  The  craftsmen try to make the pieces like those pictured, but small variations may occur in any handcrafted work and are part of their charm.  Price includes regular shipping by U.S. Mail.  Priority 2-3 day and Express overnight is extra.
