The Hopi Indian artisans have been making sterling jewelry since the 1900's. Overlay jewelry was started in the mid fifties, overlay means there are two layers of silver, a top design in this case a beautiful horse design. These designs are cut out with a fine cutting blades and soldered onto a second layer, thus referred to as Overlay Jewelry. Hopi designs are from things found in the of the Hopi Indians. This beautiful bracelet is handcrafted by Nathan Fred, Jr., a Hopi silversmiths and made from (.925) sterling silver and signed by the artist. Price includes shipping.
