Tips for purchasing genuine Native American jewelry
Most of our silversmiths are members of the Indian Arts and Crafts Association. Read IACA's Tips for Consumers regarding buying Native American jewelry. Unfortunately, not all that say they are "Indian-made" are being truthful. Recently I read that it is estimated 90% of those claiming to be Indian-made are not. They are usually made overseas.
If having authentic Native American handcrafted sterling silver southwestern jewelry and Indian Artifacts is important to you, please be sure that the people you are dealing with are buying from members of IACA or another Indian crafts association.
